Question / Help Cant add global sources

No I'm not being silly, I've used OBS before. I uninstalled it about 1 month ago and just reinstalled it now but I cant add the sources. So when i go add a source, i click add, and choose game capture. Then i proceed to click Ok at the bottom but nothing happens. The window stays there, the ok button is still there, the source hasn't been added, literally the ok button does nothing. Why is this happening? BTW, this is for all sources, not just game capture... Appreciate any help...

Adding a global source involves two steps. First is creating the source in the global sources list, second is adding the global source to your scene. Right-click in your sources list > Add > Global Sources > the source you created.

Ok first of all, i wasnt able to add it to the list so i cant complete step one can i, and therefor cant complete step 2.

Just to clarify, you're able to name the source and proceed to the properties window, and it's there that the OK button doesn't work?
