Bug Report Cannot stream Dayz (fixed in 0.52.05 and up)

Hello!

I cannot stream dayz with OBS (arma2oa) - anyone has any fix for this? I tried updating, aswell as trying a test build (neither worked).

I am aware of the arma 2 issues, there may be a potential fix for this in the next test build (which will probably be 0.52.05).

cool. looking forward to this update then. Trying to play in windowed mode is killing me. It halves my FPS

ok, just tried the aforementioned test build, and it doesn't appear to have the Arma 2 fix.

The latest test build is 0.52.04. The one where I can hopefully get a fix in is 0.52.05, the next one upcoming.

Incase people are still having trouble streaming DayZ using OBS the way i got it to work for me is to launch Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead game and then add a game capture on that using OBS then close your Arma2:OA and launch DayZ with dayz commander on any map. thats how i got it to work for me, hope this helps!

Would like you guys to try the latest test build (0.52.05), just uploaded it hopefully with a potential fix to the problem.

Can confirm that the new 0.52.05b works fine with Dayz/Arma/Breaking Point.

Only thing you need to do (as before) is run OBS as admin, and it captures fine with no problems.

I'm having the same problem, I had a friend watch the stream and he says it picks up the audio but it keeps a black screen, I'm using the new v0.638b, is there an issue with the program, game, or am I being an idiot and overlooking something basic...?
 
This is a really old thread, please don't necro.

Make sure you are using anti-cheat compatibility mode in the game capture.
