I am new to OBS, when I add Windows Capture, I can't interact with the windows within OBS, I need to go back to the windows screen to work on it. Please help.
Thank you for the quick reply. But I saw in some tutorial they can do that. Is it because they are using Mac? So that means if I am doing a recording using PowerPoint/Google slide, I won't be able to see myself when I do the presentation?
In general: that's right, the Window Capture source does just that: capture a window. If you want to interact with that window, switch to it (at Windows i.e. by pressing Alt+Tab keys). Obviously you have to switch back to OBS Studio to interact with your recording or broadcast.
For Google Slide you can try the Browser source. You can right click the source and select Interact. Then a pop-up opens where you can interact with the web page.
I provide therapy services virtually. How can I open an app in OBS with Zoom and have the client use the app? The interactive button goes gray once I'm streaming.
