Hey guys, new to this, followed a guide in setting it up to stream and ran into this error. Anyone know how to fix this?

Hey, could you give us some more Information on your soundcard. Is it a VIA integrated Sound Chip? (Drivers are up to date?)

Could you make sure you have the right device plugged in to your sound card/etc? I think that error means that it can't get any data out of your sound device

Hi, I had the same error. I'd set OBS to record headphones sound, but the headphones weren't plugged in. Changing audio to Speakers in Settings fixed the problem.

Sorry about the necro :)

AUDCLNT_E_CPUUSAGE_EXCEEDED means too many other applications are doing things with your audio devices. Try rebooting or closing or removing unnecessary apps / drivers.
