Can my PC stream?

Hey all,

I've been looking to stream for a very long time but it appears no matter what upgrade I give my computer I always get the same result of either getting a choppy stream or losing frames while actually gaming.

Here is a bench of my current setup:

I run 3 monitors, my primary being 2560x1440 144hz refresh rate. The bench has all of my computer parts listed as well as performance ratings.

A speedtest of my internet shows 150 MBPS download and between 10-13 MBPS upload. Which the upload speed is certainly on the lower end but I dont think this is the overall problem as im dropping frames in game.

So the real question is, can I stream with this single PC? Because it appears I cannot. I have a second graphics card that I can attach into my computer for increased performance, but i hear that this will make streaming even worse in most cases.

I play Apex Legends and my stream quality is trash, as well as I get dropped frames ingame (NOT IN OBS). I recently started playing Spellbreak where I play at 120 FPS, when streaming or recording this drops down to 50-60 when streaming and its unbearable.

Even with recording my in game frames drop heavily, which I use to record on a super shitty version of my computer ten years ago with no issues what so ever.

So the real question is, can my computer even stream, or is something else going on here?

OBS Logs , so I've noticed my graphics card has a special streaming option overlay for AMD. And when streaming with this I get absolutely no frame drops. I am wondering if theres some sort of confliction issues happening that I can somehow get around. While I wouldnt mind using AMD streaming software, if I tab out of my game the stream goes black and I have to turn it off and on to get it working again properly.

Don't see anything in the logs that stand out, it all looks normal. I would rather see a log from a long streaming session that presents the issue you are experiencing to see if something is happening mid stream that could be affecting the output.

I'm not familiar with AMD's streaming option, but that could be your last resort if the OBS issue cant be sorted out - your system should be capable of streaming 1280x720 with no issues.
