Question / Help Can I Use OBS In Skype/Chatroom?

First of all, I apologize if this sounds silly. I'd like to know if there's a way to rig OBS to show up in the system as a webcam for use in chatrooms or Skype. I love the functionality of composing scenes and I really wish I could do that for anything I could stream to.

If that's not possible, does anyone know of another program that would let me compose scenes like OBS does but shows up as a webcam in the system?

Has been requested and Jim said he might some day write a virtual camera output for obs, but its definitely not the highest priority I would assume.

You probably can make a workaround using window capture and cropping.

doesn't Skype have built-in desktop streaming? make your OBS preview full screen, disable the control center and presto chango
