Question / Help Can I Use In Line Mic?

Hello! So I am really new to this community so this may be a simple questions but I tried to find the answer on my own and I couldn't figure it out. Is there a way for me to use the microphone that is on my 3.5mm cable that is connected to my headphones and an audio input source? It's a nice gaming attachment microphone that I bought as an accessory to my headphones and Id love to use it if I can.

If it shows up as a recording device then you can use it in OBS.
