& if so, at what FPS?

i5-3570k Stock
GTX 650 Ti Boost
8GB Ram

I can stream 720p-60fps and maintain over 100 FPS but, it looks fuzzy on stream and I've seen my friends stream with 4670k with 1080p and it looked amazing. Also, I've often been told that the 4670k is basically a 3570k.

Although when I do my CPU usage goes from the normal 40%-50% (at 720p) to around 60%-80% (1080p) when my League game isn't even opened and I'm somewhat scared of overworking my processor.

So is it possible to stream 1080p and I just have some wrong settings or what?

Edit: Forgot to mention I have 11MBs Upload Speed (if that matters)

yes you can stream 1080p@30 on veryfast preset without a problem but probably league only as soon as you play high cpu usage game its pretty much over

Can you post your log from when you tried to stream at 1080p? http://obsproject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=97

You don't have to be scared of overworking your processor. You said your CPU is stock, so there's not really anything to fear.

Is this what you needed? I only ran it for about 5 minutes because I was unsure if my computer could handle it.
Also my FPS keeps fluctuating in the OBS window for some reason, and sometimes it'll stay at 60 and other times it will not.
Does that affect performance?

The FPS in the OBS window was fluctuating because you were getting a lot of late frames. You didn't say you wanted to do 1080p at 60fps, which is a bad idea even if your computer could handle it (it can't). It's hard on viewer's computers, too, because Flash is very resource-intensive when showing such high-resolution high-framerate videos. So don't try 1080p60 at all.

It also isn't helping that you are using Monitor capture, which is the slowest capture method. You have Aero disabled, which is good for Monitor capture, but You'd be better off with Window capture and Aero enabled.

I think you might be able to do 1080p30 alright. It's worth a shot.

Alright thanks!

I took your advice and changed from monitor capture to just showing a picture of my background.

Another question though;

I'm previewing my stream and tried using both Window Capture and Game Capture (as an experiment) to capture my LoL client.

It works fine on both of them, however whenever I minimize my League Client it starts messing up on the stream. Is there any bypass to that or is that just the way it works and I should learn to just stop?

Also, you said I have Aero Disabled? How do I turn it on, because in my Video Options, the "Disable Aero" box has always been unchecked.

You might have Aero disabled with your system theme. The Classic Windows theme as well as Windows Basic theme have Aero disabled.

The best way to stream LoL is to set up 2 scenes. Then, in the first scene, have a Window Capture of the LoL client, and in the second scene, have a Game Capture of the actual LoL game (or Window capture if the game is in Windowed or Borderless mode). Then use the Simple Scene Switcher to automatically swap between them: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1785
