Question / Help Can I have OBS only record audio from the game?

I sometimes watch Netflix or Youtube on my other screen while I play. But when I record it is capturing the game audio as well as my netflix shows audio.

This might be a windows setting, but is there a way to have it only record the game audio? Or at least NOT record Netflix or VLCs audio?
 
It is possible, but you have to use some crazy software setup or just split the audio. Sounds strange, but windows cant handle multiple stereo outputs and combine them to a single hardware output. Many programms and also hardware can do it. But there is no simple way to do it, OBS will record what ever is running through your main sound output under windows.
 
No. You may look into using VAC or VB-Audio, but they will only work with programs where you can specify the audio device to use for output (browsers generally don't have this option). Really though, if you're livestreaming... why are you watching Netflix?
