Question / Help Can anyone recommend me a cut and paste program?

Hi, can anyone recommend me a program to cut and paste parts of videos made with obs without having to re encode them? I tried boilsoft software but by some reason it desynched my video and audio.

Avidemux is what I use. It allows you to cut your video without re-encoding.

also desyncs the audio and video, maybe it's problem of recording with quick sync :S

Weird, never had that issue. Although avidemux does tend to do weird stuff if you don't record in .flv, then remux that to .mp4 before feeding it into avidemux. https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/how-to-convert-flvs-to-mp4-fast-without-re-encoding.78/

If the issue persists, I think there's a setting in Avidemux *somewhere* that lets you add an offset to the audio to re-sync it. I'd have to look for it though.

Then, as you are on Windows, I would recommend you "ZS4 video editor", which has a pretty weird user interface but it is freeware.

I've used Avidemux with good results for cutting segments of .mp4s for later highlight reel creation. I've always saved out of OBS as .mp4 though, not .flv. Never noticed an audio desync issue.

i do that too, but i think it may be a problem of quick sync, when i do it with amd and vce i don't have the problem.
