Camcorder not recognized

Hi, I connected a Canon MD120 DV camcorder via firewire to a PCIe capture card. Both show up in device manager. PCIe card is detected in OBS but not the attached camera. I'm running latest version of windows 10 Pro, 64bit. It is not the card, nor the cable nor the camera. Bandicam has no problem detecting and recording.

Update. Recording works with WinDV, VirtualDub, ScenalyzerLive,VLC. All programs are recognized by windows to use the camera except OBS. How to give OBS access? Do I need a plugin?

Any help is welcome.
