Hey guys. I have a slight problem.
When I start OBS for the first time and use my countdown scene and switch over to my main scene, the cam is out of sync with my audio. When I start in my main scene, everything is fine.
I tried to use my cam as Global Source but the result is the same

Thanks for the help

Code:
13:47:58: Aero is Disabled
13:47:58: Audio Encoding: MP3
13:49:01: Audio Format: 44100 Hz

Dont disable aero in the video tab of OBS. you are not getting good performance from disabling this. also make sure you use a windows aero enabled theme.
change audio encoding to AAC. there is no reason for MP3
your audio format in OBS is set to 441000Hz, check ALL audio devices you use and ensure in windows they are all using the same audio format. you have your AT2020, realtek speakers and any other audio devices. This is the important step.

set webcam resolution to 720p and no higher.

Code:
13:50:10: Total frames encoded: 1113, total frames duplicated: 294 (26.42%)
13:50:10: Total frames rendered: 867, number of late frames: 112 (12.92%)

Some of the settings I mentioned above can cause extra duplicate frames and late ones on occasion. if the fix what I mentioned, restart OBS and stream for 5 minutes or more, then post that logfile.

Thank you, everything is configured like you suggested. I hope I didn't forget anything.

forget anything.

Code:
20:04:21: Total frames encoded: 10375, total frames duplicated: 747 (7.20%)
20:04:21: Total frames rendered: 9656, number of late frames: 251 (2.60%)

looks a lot better but still not perfect. Duplicate frames needs to be less than 1% and late should be lower as well. do you watch your own stream while you encode? might try not doing that or use internet explorer of you have to watch it. your best bet is to use a pop-out chat and not even the twitch dashboard since that has an active preview window.

did you check audio bit rate of both devices? what were they set to?

Code:
19:59:10: PERFORMANCE WARNING: Scene change took 2608 ms,
maybe some sources should be global sources?

rebuild your webcam as a global source. This will keep the webcam active in the background for when you switch scenes. and yes keep it at that 720p that's perfect.

I use chatty to follow the chat and I added the cam new as a global source. Now I just realised, that my mic is not working, even tho I can see it working on OBS.

My audio devices are all set to 441000.

Looks like the whole audio is not working anymore

check to make sure push-to-talk is not checked (unless you have a key assigned) as well as the noise-gate isn't set to high.

then post another log. some audio devices need a slight offset to get a sync. after you set what you need to global sources you can set an aux audio ofset under advanced to advanced or retard the timing of the mic. if audio is slow, set -ms. If audio of fast, set of +ms.

The thing is, I have the delay only when I start with another scene. I have no issues when I just start with my game scene stuff. Audio is fine again.

scene switch between all of your scenes prior to broadcast.

That doesn't work for the first attempt. If I stop the stream and restart again it works without issues.
So, the first time I start OBS and click through all scenes (with and without local recording), the delay stays in. When I stop broadcasting and hit start again, I can do whatever I want. It's super strange

Its activating the global sources. you could add in a webcam to your main scene behind your game capture so it does this without issue.

different PCs need this done differently which I believe is the way it is.

I added the cam behind my overlay, the delay is still in there with every workaround. Guess I'm gonna add everything to one scene and just turn off the stuff I don't need :D

not ideal, but you could preview, switch between scenes then start stream. or OBS Studios sets everything needed to be global already but does an auto preview so all you'll have to do is switch before you start stream.

Oh, I'm gonna try to do a preview before I start tomorrow and switch through everything. It seems to work on a local recording. Thank you

your issues are still in the video thread frame

Code:
14:00:51: Total frames encoded: 19468, total frames duplicated: 10721 (55.07%)

I would upgrade your chipset, audio and network drivers from your motherboard manufacturer's website. These are always the best ones to use in situations like this.

I dont know what else to suggest but I would even try to uninstall GPU drivers with DDU (display driver uninstaller) in safemode then reboot. I would avoide installing geforce experience if you can avoid it
