Question / Help Buzzing sound ? [FIXED]

I recently installed a new harddrive, and everything was great until i started streaming, this consistent buzzing noise was there. I tried to test my mic, and it sounds fine on skype, which leads me to believe OBS is the problem

Looking briefly at the log, I'm guessing you're using a microphone that uses the mic port, and not USB, correct?

is there a twitch VOD that shows this audio hum? You may simply need a ground loop isolator to plug the mic into (I had to do that myself, due to interference.) I've seen people resolve this by simply installed a sound card and plugging the mic into that, rather than onto on-board sound ports.

Also, is it plugged into a port on the front of the PC (part of the case) or in the back on the motherboard?

VOD has the sound. I stream on a laptop, so it's plugged in to the side technically. (That would also be the only jackstick ports i have)

That sounds like it's using a built-in mic to me. Considering how far away you sounded, rather than the mic on your head.

i...have never felt more stupid. Both mic options were named High definition audio device, like the exact same thing, so i thought it was the same. Sorry for wasting your time! Have a nice day, and thanks for that help =)
