Hey I am wondering if anyone here knows a fix for this audio issue I’ve been having since I upgraded to a duel pc setup , if anyone has this issue and knows a fix please contact me I’ve tried everything.

Here’s my specs and details

STREAMING PC
GTX 1080
Ryzen 5950x CPU
42gb ram
Goxlr mini
Avimedia live 4k Capture Card

A log of your OBS may help in understanding where the issue is coming from:

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored.

To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log File. "Last Log File" is for the last session (the last time you ran OBS). In some cases you may be asked to select "Current Log File" instead, which is for the current session.

Additionally, what device is being captured via your AverMedia?

Not knowing AverMedia's Capture software or properties, you may need to check its Audio settings in its capture software or in Windows Audio Settings to see if it matches up with your OBS settings

WINDOWS 11: Settings > System > SOund > *Capture Card Input Name*

Where possible, have it match the Sample Rate in your OBS Settings > Audio

This is true, but based on the OP example, there appears to be more of a distortion than a buzzing occurring.

It wouldn't hurt to eliminate any sort of cabling/grounding issue however:
  1. Check to make sure your cables between the device and capture card are securely in place and not loose.
  2. If at all possible, swap the video/audio cables with others to ensure they're not poor or worn cables in use.
  3. I'm assuming this is a retro console using a non-digital video/connection (ie it's RCA/SCART and not HDMI) ... Isolating the cables so they're away from any other power or device cables to see if there's some sort of signal interference involved may help determine if this is a transferral issue.

Comparing your example with this clip makes me think it is either a sample rate or bit depth difference between the capture card and your stream setup... Hopefully something that can be changed within OBS and/or Windows sound settings to align together for a solution.
