Bug Report Bugg? - Limits letters in text?

I have a scroll text rolling on my stream, its just basic information rules how to do songrequests and alot of other stuff, but the msg is really long.

The problem is that it seems like OBS do not support really long msg.

I Think it allowed 731 letters, after that it cuts off and starts over from the beginning.

ENTER TEXT = 731 letters
TEXT from FILE = 742 letters

The texts where different, so not 100% sure if the limit is not letter/sign limited or depending on differnt letters like "i" being shorter then "m", and therefor difference in length.

Long story short, any possibility to make text limits a lot longer ?

I believe it's a limitation based on the maximum size of a texture on your video card. Not 100% sure though.

Im running two 6950 in Crossfire. So if anyone knows for sure then please let me know.

But even if so, is there any way to increase the amount of test written. Either in having several text boxes, but they are in que after eachother.

So have 5 texts, and after *Text 1* then *Text 2* is activated, then *Text 3*..... And so on...

i'm having this same issue. i have a list of donators scrolling on my screen. i used a .txt file and it didn't help the issue. i'm running an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 4gb

has anything been done to update this issue?!?!?!?!

If you have a big long text segment, then currently we have a limitation to how large that texture the text sits on can be, so if the texture becomes bigger than 8094, then it'll stop at that point, and get cut off.

The way around it for the time being is to do this:
1.) Lower the text size in the properties as much as you find acceptable, then
2.) Go in to edit mode, click on the text, and manually resize it to be bigger. The text may be a bit blurry, but it should help solve the size issue.

We will have this fully fixed in the rewrite, though. I didn't anticipate this when I was originally writing it so it was somewhat a design flaw.

So has this bug been fixed now with some special add-on? The only way I can get a txt file showing all donors to show is making the text blurry like you just mentioned. It seems not many streamers like to show all their donors on screen... Otherwise this wouldn't be a problem still :/
