I use OBS with Elgato Game Capture HD and an Logictech webcam. I have my webcam set to buffer at 1500 miliseconds and Elgato set to buffer at 0 miliseconds, but BOTH items change the buffer over time.
Elgato increases the buffer, slowing it down over time. The camera, however, decreases the buffer, eventually streaming my face and voice in realtime.
I don't know why this is happening and nothing I've found on these forums address this exact problem. For some it seems setting the Elgato buffer to 0 solved it. For me it did not. Also, it's strange that the camera stops the buffer. I keep having to restart the webcam and the Elgato every 30 minutes or so because they get ridiculously out of sync.
Both are set as a global source.
