You can't overlay it in your game though, you need to use another monitor. OBS does not provide overlays for your game.

2. Not a function of OBS. It's there in the program so viewers of the stream can see it. For you to see it at the same time you play, you'll need either a 2nd display with that window on it, or another device on which to view the chat (tablet, mobile phone, etc).
