Hello guys !
I recently started streaming in arena-tournament.com and I tried many different settings but with no luck. The stream quality is perfect when i stay in 1 place but If I start moving around it gets a little bit blurry. Its not that big of a deal but still its rly annoying. Here is a link to my latest broadcast - http://www.twitch.tv/noiseless123/b/495389918 - its on 1080p @ 3k bits and 3200 buffer size. This is my connection - http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3233286531
Here is a link to a prev broadcast @ 720p with 2400 bits - http://www.twitch.tv/noiseless123/b/494099072. If you could give me a hand on this, it will be awesome.
Cheers.

Try using the 1080p bitrate when broadcasting at 720p. The "blurry when moving" symptom you describe is a telltale sign of too low a bitrate.

dont stream 1080p45 then ...

Code:
Video:
	Resolution: 1920x1080
	FPS: 45
	Keyint: ± (estimated)

Audio:
	aac, 48000 Hz, stereo, s16

x264 Settings:
	vbv-maxrate: 3000
	vbv-bufsize: 3200
	crf: (OBS: q?)
	rc: cbr

Estimated preset: veryfast

Frame Timing Variance (first 52 frames):

Average frame rate: 44.58 ±0.82

1080p30 is enough with a 3k bitrate

also your 720p45 settings look weird since its not really a 2400 bitrate

Code:
Video:
	Resolution: 1280x720
	FPS: 45
	Keyint: ± (estimated)

Audio:
	aac, 48000 Hz, stereo, s16

x264 Settings:
	vbv-maxrate: 2100
	vbv-bufsize: 2500
	crf: (OBS: q?)
	rc: cbr

Estimated preset: veryfast

Frame Timing Variance (first 74 frames):

Average frame rate: 44.57 ±0.83

also 45 is a odd number you usually go with 30 fps or 60 fps

idk why I was using 45 fps tbh I guess i`ll go with 60. If i wanna stream 1080p with 60fps how many bits do I need. I have an i5 4570 so is this enough for a 60 fps :D

your i5 wont really handle the 1080p60 load its probably already running into a quite high cpu usage with 1080p30

also for wow 1080p60 you would need around 4500-5000 bitrate to get a decent quality during hight movement but then again you literally cut out ALL your viewers with this bitrate and its not recommended to really go over 3500 as a non partnered streamer actually due to buffering problems they even suggest staying at around 2000-2500.

so if you want to stream wow with a decent quality 1080p30 with a 3000bitrate will probably the best thing you can do

to compare it 720p60 will also need a 3000bitrate to sustain an equal quality but keep in mind the text gets a bit blurry and hard to read on 720p
