Question / Help Blurry stream 720p @60fps

Hi all,

I have recently started streaming with obs and I got to say I love this program a lot! Problem is I feel my stream is blurry when viewing it, just want to know if I got some settings wrong. Below are my details etc..

Computer specs:

OS: Microsoft Windows 8.1 x64-based
GPU: AMD Radeon™ R9 Toxic 270X
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 3401 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
RAM: 8 GB

Video Encoding: x264
fps: 60
Base resolutionm: 1920x1080
Downscale: 1280x720
preset: veryfast
keyint: 120
CBR: yes
CFR: no
max bitrate: 3000
buffer size: 3000

Is there any way to smooth it so it's less pixel based?

Honestly I'd say your stream is fricken fantastic, at least the vod was. 3000 bitrate for 720p 60fps is good. You could probably try 3500 if you really want, but honestly that vod looked great.

Allright, thank you Jim. I tweaked it a bit and put the preset on faster and bitrate on 3500. I'm still on 60fps and it really increased my quaility. You can have a look http://www.twitch.tv/lunskee (streaming with these settings now).
