Not sure where else to turn. Google helped me find the way to properly setup OBS for windowed mode, but it's still blurry as hell.
My computer's old and my connection could be better, so I know I can't stream at my native resolution (1680x1050), so I've often used a downscaling option to make it work. Problem is, this results in incredibly blurry text and I've been trying to find a way around that.
Right now, I'm playing the game in windowed mode at 720p, and through googling I found a way of ensuring OBS is recording and streaming the entire window, at the window's base resolution (no downscaling.)
Problem is, when I view the test streamed footage on Twitch, it's still blurry as hell! It's razor sharp in OBS (which isn't surprising, I think the OBS preview was razor sharp beforehand, too)
Right now, I have the source set to Window Capture, and video settings set to a custom base resolution of 1280x720, with no downscaling, and at 60fps (same framerate the game is running at.)
Am I missing a step here? Why is the streamed footage still blurry? Shouldn't it be recording a 720p output at 720p? It looks no different from the 2x downscaled footage I was streaming beforehand.
