Question / Help Blender is recorded with Monitor Capture but not Window

So I have been using OBS for a couple of months and I really enjoy the software. I use it to record Blender timelapses and tutorials, and all has gone well.

When I record, I have always used the Monitor Capture option which has worked fine.

Recently I looked into the window capture, which will make my videos a little more professional by hiding unwanted toolbars and application windows.

It works for everything but Blender. I have tried file explorer windows, Google Hangouts, and Chrome. They all are recorded just fine. But when I try to record Blender it shows up as a black screen. I can still see my mouse though.

I have tried tweaking all of the options, but to no avail.

Here is my log file: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/647df630fd61e69ff6b3

And as a side note, I have heard that when recording a video, using a high bitrate like 10000 is good to remove artifacts, but OBS is warning me about it after it analyzed my log file. Could this be part of my problem?

I believe Blender renders the entire window in OpenGL, which bypasses the DWM. Oddly enough, this may mean you can capture it with Game Capture, though I haven't tried.
