Question / Help BlackMagic Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt?

I am looking go buy a BlackMagic Intensity Shuttle with the Thunderbolt port for use with my iMac running Windows (which is handicapped on USB 2.0)

Is there any information on how this device works with OBS? Is there delay? Are there other Thunderbolt cards that will work better? I don't have a PC I can use so that I can use the Intensity Pro.

As far as I know, you can't use the Mac version of the Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt in Windows, as for why it works like that, I have no idea, I just know that the Windows version of the Intensity Shuttle doesn't work on OS X.

So most likely you would have to get the Windows version of the device, which you then wouldn't be able to use in OS X because of the aforementioned issue. There is the standard delay of 2-3 frames, like any other device over DirectShow. I don't believe there are any other Thunderbolt capture devices, but I might be wrong.

So there's a Windows and a Mac version of the Thunderbolt Intensity Shuttle? I'm only going to be using it in windows so there's no problems there. I can't use USb 30 due to limitations of my computer, so I thought is use the Thunderbolt one.

Actually, I can't seem to find them listed as separate products anymore, so perhaps the latest drivers address that issue? I would suggest asking them before ordering it, though, as it's quite a bit more costly than the USB 3.0 version of the card.
