Question / Help Black screens on many games and many other problems

When I try to stream/record rising storm 2 Vietnam, borderlands 2, fallout 4 (happens 50% of the time), and Day of Infamy has blacks out cars and other white objects. But on Verdun I get massive lag even though other games that are much bigger run fine. I am using Game Capture for all of this and my settings for it are the following: capture any full screen application,
allow transparency, capture cursor, and anti cheat hook. Display capture doesn't work either. when I create a display capture it will just show a black screen no matter the settings. I have looked up fixes and videos about perfect settings and none seem to fix any of the problems (I am on a laptop and I have my NVIDIA driver as the main.)

Laptop Specs
Intel(r) Core (TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz, 2592 MHz, 4 core(s), 8 logical processor(s)
Computer: ACPI x64-based PC
Disk Drivers: ST1000LM024 HN-M101MBB
Display Adaptors: Intel (R) HD Graphics 530, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M
Monitor: Generic PnP Monitor
Network Adaptors: Realtek PCle FE Family Controller #2, Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi Adaptor

Then you're not in the OBS window when you click help. (It's log files, not logs, that's my mistake)

You can't game capture windows explorer (that's what it shows you trying to capture)
Alt+tabbing out of games that are running fullscreen stops the game from rendering, and as such stops OBS from being able to capture them.

Also, depending on the game, you may need to run obs as admin.

Plus that doesn't explain why Display Capture just captures a black screen. *edit I just tried recording with display capture and it says this:
Required module function 'obs_module_load' in module '../../obs-plugins/64bit/chrome_elf.dll' not found, loading of module failed
17:52:32.531: [CoreAudio encoder]: CoreAudio AAC encoder not installed on the system or couldn't be loaded

None of those errors are relevant.

Display capture will ALWAYS show black on switchable graphics laptops unless you set OBS to run on the intel.

And given what you're trying to capture, you have precisely ZERO reason to be using display capture.
You should be using Game capture for all of that.

The reason display capture would be useful is if I'm switching games mid-stream. If I had display capture they wouldn't have to watch a black screen until I get onto the next game
