Question / Help Black Screen

Hi!

OBS used to work for me, but after a clean OS install I tried to use it again and now I try to capture monitors and screens but everything except the mouse cursor displays as a black screen.

Some information I think useful:
My laptop uses switchable graphics with
AMD Radeon HD 7500M/7600M Series and
Intel HD Graphics 4000


Could somebody help me?

Hi I have the same problem with OBS
OBS settings sees only integrated graphics or "Intel HD Graphics 4000" and not that which is used by the game or "AMD Radeon HD 7600M Series"

Hi!

I have found the solution! You need to go to the AMD Switchwable Graphics and tell your system to use the Power saving graphic card to run OBS. Problem fixed!

Right click your desktop, then select Configure Switchable Graphics, find the OBS in the list and select the option: battery saver.

It doesn't really fix anything, your games will run slower, because they are running on the integrated GPU.

My games are not running in the integrated GPU. The Open Broadcaster Software is. My games are defined to run in the dedicated GPU and I can check it using the AMD Catalyst Control Centre.
