Hiya there, when I try to stream PCSX2 via OBS to Twitch.tv, the screen is all black. All other applications works but the emulator. Anyone got a tip that might fix my problem?

Have you tried using Window Capture instead of Game Capture?

I've tried them all. Only way I can stream it is with screen capture, which I don't want to use really. :P

If there's a different renderer plugin available for it, I would recommend trying that instead.

Otherwise you don't really have much of a choice but to use monitor capture. Besides, you're on windows 8 so monitor capture shouldn't have any impact.

@Jim I don't want to use screen capture due I tend to have personal stuff in the background.

@Krazy GSDX SSE4 and using directx 9 hardware, also tried software, opengl and directx11 with no luck.

If you use Window capture, it will only capture the window you tell it to capture, and not other windows or things in the background, even if there is a window on top of the window you're capturing.

It's all black with both game capture and window capture. The only way I can stream is with monitor capture which I highly dislike.

How can I change that? I have same problem.

in pcsx2 go to config > Plugin/BIOS detector. Go to Plugins and change GS to GSZero.
If you dont have GSZero just download the newest version of PCsx2 from their site and the plugin should be there.

I should have thought of switching this in the first place :P

Which PCSX2 revision? Mine is admittedly out of date, r5642 from back in September, but I just checked myself and was able to easily use game capture.

I am using the newest version, r5875. May I ask which GS Plugin you are using?

Well, that's interesting. It seems that NONE of the latest revisions are capturing at all, Window or Game Capture, DX9 or DX11 GSDx.

Hey, just kidding.

Ok, so here's what's going on for me:
DX9 capturing definitely is not working at all.
DX11 capture works, but I had to refresh the Game Capture application list in the source properties several times before it finally grabbed, but now it captures reliably each time.

So, I suggest moving to the DX11 renderer for GSDX and using Game Capture. Let me know if that still doesn't work for you.

Searching for the source didn't work at all for me, even after refreshes. Instead I use the hoykey feature and it works great now. Have never noticed that feature before.
