Question / Help Black screen with monitor capture.

Yes, I did read the sticky thread and yes, I have a laptop with 2 GPU's. 1 intel and 1 nvidia.
I tried changing adapter to nvidia, wich it already was. And also change the settings within OBS but only my nvidia GPU showed up. And I still get a black screen. Also read you have to try to enable compatebility mode but the option is grayed out. So.... What do?
Do not suggest things like "Use screen capture" or something because I am not really streaming a game. Well kinda.
 
Okay, so apperently it fixed itself? Somehow. I closed my laptop screen and it went to go get some eggs for dinner and opened it, started the preview and now its working. No idea how.
