you cant have elgato software open while you try and stream in OBS as well. Close the Elgato software.

the way you want to do it is to use the video device source not game capture.

Also, 1440p is to high for the settings you are using, If you are local recording, you'll need to raise the preset to superfast and set your buffer to 0.

Not that these files (especially at 1440p) will be huge since your source is only 1080p it would be best to downscale to 1080p or around that resolution.
