Question / Help Black Screen When Streaming?

So, to sum up my problem.

  • Stream shows up as a black screen, only audio but no visuals.
  • I have tried enabling the anti hack/cheat thing, removing and adding again.
  • I have disabled Nvedia's shadow play.
  • Shut down steam and made sure Origin overlay is off.
I have tested Mount and Blade Warband, and BF4. Both, ended up with black screens. I used to be able to steam but now I cannot. :(

Anyone know how to fix this?

Is the OBS preview also a black screen, or only the stream? Are you running any other programs/overlays that also hook into the game?

Preview appears good. When I stream, in OBS I can see the game fine, but on the actual stream it is not. Also, about overlays I am pretty sure that all are disabled/shutdown.
 
You're probably using an NVENC preset your GPU doesn't support. Go to Settings > Advanced and click the Defaults button at the bottom. Then set Encoding Profile back to "main" and Keyframe Interval to 2 seconds.

It should support it.

GTX 760 4gb Jetstream edition?
 
Dunno, did my suggestion make a difference? How about testing with a different encoder like x264?
 
Why would you ever manually set the keyframe interval to -1? I assumed it was just a bug with how the NVENC settings in OBS were being reported.
