Question / Help Black screen when record full screen games

When trying to record full screen games, I get black screen with sound.
I have searched the internet for a solution - nothing worked.

I am also having this problem when trying to record Arma 3 in full screen, I get audio but no actual video just a black screen anyone have any idea how to fix?

I do have the same problem. I watched videos trying to solve this, searched on the internet, and the only way i found is on steam forum. The work around is to record your monitor instead of game capture, and change your arma settings to fullscreen window instead of fullscreen. But unfortunately this settings on arma 3 had a bad impact on my fraps ingame. When i go back to fullscreen it got back to normal, even if im recording a blackscreen with sounds.
None of the other research i did could solve this issue. May someone help us!!!

16 gb ram
Intel i5 3570K
AMD HD 7870 2Gb

But this only works with games actually capable of being in window format...

OBS: So many people have these issues? What is wrong with this crappy software, and why is the support ignoring peoples questions in here?

Support is "ignoring" questions because faqs and pinned threads are being ignored by users.

That post still doesn't solve the issue... It just explains why the program doesn't work...

I've searched the forums and other places, tried many guides but never got it to work..

I found a fix and made a video! Hope this will fix your problems with trying to stream or record video games in full screen with game capture. (not monitor capture)
