Question / Help Black Screen videos

so i just got this program and what i noticed is that when i record and everything it seems to be doing fine i use the Hotkey method and everything. As soon as i save the file i can see the picture with quick time player but when i play it the video goes black i can hear all the ambient noises and my speaker sounds to as well as my mic sounds. What do i do?

try to play it with different player. It happends to me when I copy the video I made right in to the Sony Vegas. That's the reason why I have to conver the video

Does it work if you play the video in VLC?

Your computer may be missing some codecs. Try installing the K-Lite codec pack.
