Hello.

I have a laptop, with Nvidia GeForce GT 720M GT. In my Nvidia Control Panel, as you write in that useful post "https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/laptop-black-screen-when-capturing-read-here-first.5965/", I have selected NVIDIA high performance processor.

Well, OBS it works perfectly in windowed games, however it doesn't work in full screen games.

My configuration options are the following:
1.- Video: Adapter -> Nvidia GeForce GT 720M. Custom -> 1280 x 720, 30 fps
Other options, are by default.

I have tried some combinations:
Combination 1
Source: Window capture, "compatibility mode" checked.
Problem: When I run any game, it doesn't appear in the dropdown-list, even after clicking "refresh" button.

Combination 2
Source: Monitor capture, Monitor 1.
This mode, captures my desktop correctly, but when I try to change to a game, it captures a black screen.
Problem: "compatibility mode" is disabled, and black screen.

Combination 3
Source: Capture game, default options.
This mode recognizes all my opened applications, including games, so all appears in the dropdown-list. When I select any game in fullscreen from that dropdown-list, I start previsualization and I see black screen.
Problem: black screen.

Maybe I am doing something wrong? Can you help me to solve that problem?

Thank you so much.
Greetings.

Finally, I found the solution to my problem on Youtube, NOT from the official support. They have been ignoring me since 8/nov/2014. I think that this situation is lamentable.

Maybe you could do your part in fixing this "lamentable situation" by posting what you did to resolve your issue, so that others with similar issues can learn from your situation.

If you searched this forum you would have found the solution already. And don't act entitled, sometimes it happens that forum posts are unseen.

The solution is not on this forum, and OBS still crashing in some games yet. And "sometimes it happens that forum posts are unseen"? Really? 1 month without listening to me, but when I post that have solution, suddenly, new reply appears.I think that is not serious at all.
