Question / Help Black Screen on Laptop for Game/Window/Monitor Capture

I believe your screen is rendered from your iGPU, and thus window capture of non-game programs (like chrome etc) shouldn't work. The downside of Optimus.

Ive gone about doing just that in the first place, but that solution hadn't worked. Are you saying stereaming on this computer is basically impossible?
Could you help me out on setting it up? 'Cause right now I feel a little bit under educated about this stuff.

I don't have Optimus, so I'm not the best for that. But basically if something is rendered using your iGPU, and OBS is set to use your dGPU, you won't be able to grab things done by the iGPU.
Optimus is a "feature" forced on people to result in better battery life. It is not meant for good functionality, and causes MANY issues and incompatibilities with programs, and streaming is one such thing.
