Question / Help Black Screen no matter what [resolved]

I have been trying to get OBS to work, I run Windows 8 64 bit. I have tried both the 64 bit and 32 bit version, tried both 1 and 2 monitors and neither work, neither game capture nor monitor capture works at all, I get a black screen no matter what source, scene or video graphics card i select. I am completly lost at what i should do.

You haven't put any sources on your scene, so there is nothing to stream except black. You can use the log analyzer to check for common problems like this in the future. https://obsproject.com/analyzer

I don't know what I am doing wrong, neither recording the whole window nor just adding a game as source seems to work, game audio records fine. I also set OBS to use nvidias high speed gpu. I did add a source.

Are you actually adding the sources to your scene or using the global sources feature? Your log shows no evidence of any sources.

Nvm , found it. it is so obvious i but i still didn't find it, thanks for your help.
