I start obs launch my game and there will be nothing but a black screen sound still plays and i can exit the game just fine. I have tried updating drivers and re installing
press ctrl f while previewing. have your game in the background when you do. make sure your set your game capture to stretch to full screen as well. lastly post your log next time just in case. and also, this topic goes in questions and help, not bug reports.
you should use hotkeys to start your stream. example: start OBS but dont start streaming, setup a hotkey of, maybe Ctrl Alt +, start the game and hit the hotkey, that way you dont have to alt tab. set Ctrl Alt - to stop the stream. There is no log i think, like nothing crashes its just ill have obs open start my game i while hear the audio of the game but the game video wont work its just a black screen on my actual moniter

looks like you have razer synapse, raptr and another unknown app all trying to hook your game along with obs, unistall raptr, uninstall synapse ajd disable steam in-home streaming and steam broadcasting from steam settings. After all that, restart and ensure they are gone from programs and features in control panel and broadcasting/inhome streaming disabled from steam. Also 1080@45 might be to much once you start to stream csgo. You only have it set to 1000 bitrate and buffer which is way to low. Set it to 3500 if you have over 5Mb/s upload. If not, lower your stream resolution to 720@48fps 2000 bitrate. 48 is better than 45 in most caseshttps://obsproject.com/analyzer?url=https://gist.github.com/anonymous/91fa1c459d8521cc6ef4
