Question / Help Black Screen Game Capture

Hey guys, I'm trying to game capture league of legends to take advantage of the better performance, however I am trying to stream on a laptop and there are two graphics cards (integrated and dedicated Radeon). So this is what happens when I try to game capture, I get a black screen with only my mouse showing.

The main problem is that OBS and everything (windows explorer, firefox, etc) is running on the integrated graphics card while the game is running on my radeon. When I swap OBS to high performance instead of power-saving (league is on high performance), monitor capture AND game capture results in a black screen.

TL;DR
OBS on integrated, LoL on borderless/Radeon graphics card -> Monitor Capture works, Game Capture gives black screen + mouse cursor

OBS on Radeon, LoL on Radeon -> Nothing works, all methods yield a black screen

same problem here, but different specs and different game.
the current game capture setting I use works for my offline games, Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter but not for LOTRO.
I followed many advice posted (reduced buffer, FPS, & resolution downscale etc) but to no avail. audio is recorded crystal clear though :P
any help is appreciated, thanks!

That is a problem with the Radeon Drivers, because you can't manually set OBS to run on your GPU.

I have tried setting OBS on "high performance" and League on "high performance". Game capture doesn't work and monitor stops working as well, essentially nothing works.

So there is no fix for now?

The monitor isnt supposed to stop working when you change the performance profile. Are you sure you are doing everything right?

It used to work fine for me a few months ago as well, but then I reformatted my computer and it stopped working suddenly.

I'm getting the same issue here and can't see the topic.
Please explain to us!

I have dual GPU on my notebook. GeForce and Internal... I want to use OBS but can't capture fullscreen games. Only sound and mouse.
