I need some help, when i use game capture i get black screen on Preview Stream.

I have a notebook, whit a radeon 6770HD. I alrealy saw some people whit notebooks having the same issue. Anyone alrealy know how to fix it?

ps: I alrealy put obs to run in high performance, don't solved the problem.
ps2: I don't even have the option to make on Settings > Video to use the radeon gpu.

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10031 - seems you duplicated your thread -- try to avoid that if possible, I will lock your other thread and we'll use this one.

Ah, yes, radeon laptops. Right now, radeon laptops don't seem to capture properly, and this doesn't seem to be a bug in OBS. I believe this is due to their design -- even setting them to the correct adapter in radeon control panel typically still ends up with them running on the intel instead of the radeon. I believe this is because of windowed/fullscreen mode on most 3D applications, though I'm not entirely sure. Currently, the only real reliable way to capture on radeon laptops is to run your game in a borderless/windowed mode, and use window capture with "compatibility mode" checked. It probably should have been noted in the laptop thread (I should add something for it if not)

It sucks, but there doesn't seem to be any other reliable way yet, and at some point I might buy myself a radeon laptop just to try to investigate if there are any other workarounds that can be done. Actually could you give me the exact model of laptop you have?

I have a dv7 6195us.

The problem about use window capture is i'm streaming wow, and when i turn my hero, all the window blurry. It's really frustrating.

I was thinking about Xsplit, i know about more CPU Usage, but i have a good processor, but i'm really scaried to buy it and get black screen too.

Any idea if this could happens?

Edit: Yes, i maked the thread on the wrong place, so i remaked it here and i don't find a way to delete the other hehe

Window capture doesn't cause blur -- encoding settings cause blur, such as using not enough bitrate. Post a log of that (in code tags) and I'll try to help with your settings if I can.

Remove the advanced custom setting and increase the bitrate to above 2000, if your upload doesn't allow you to stream at more than 1600 bitrate you should consider downscaling to about 540p to maintain more quality when there's action on the screen.

Everything runs badly as window caption. I don't know if will become better if i runs at game caption, but i take one lesson, AMD NEVER AGAIN.
