Question / Help Black screen during locked screen RDP recording

Hello,

I'm recording Remote Desktop Session window and all is ok until I lock screen ( WIN + L ) on my laptop.

When I do it all time it's locked in output recorded video there will be BLACK SCREEN.

My configuration is:
  • OBS v0.658b 64bit
  • Windows 10 x64
  • NVS 4200 GFX card
  • 2 monitors ( i'm recording from 2nd monitor > window) // same problem occurs when it's on 1st monitor and screen is locked
Any idea what can I do to record that video when my screen is locked too ( i'm not sure but i think when I had Windows 8.1 it was working OK )?

Maybe something related to power saving? Any driver setting?

No. This is the same issue as minimizing a window, or alt-tabbing out of a fullscreen game. The OS stops rendering the UI entirely when the screen is locked, so there's nothing to capture. There is nothing OBS can do to work around this.
