Alright, I know there are a lot of other posts for this Black Screen issue, including YouTube How-To-Fix videos, but I have yet to find a post that fits with my particular situation and therefore the issue is a little different.
So, I was attempting to record clips from Netflix. Just short clips to make a montage. At first it was all recording, except it was very jumpy, skipping and not moving, yadda yadda. I kept adjusting the bitrate but still nothing worked. This was with the Monitor and Window capture sources. So, I tried the Game Capture and it worked just fine. It recorded smoothly, no problem, but it was a little low quality. So I moved the bitrate up and now I have a black screen. I even moved the bitrate back down to where it was when it worked fine (but with the low quality) and it continued to show a black screen. So I guess this differs from the other black screen posts in that it did work, but then stopped working. I only have one graphics card on here, as far as I know, and it's the AMD Radeon R5 (if it makes a difference the processor is an AMD A8 so there shouldn't be any issue there). And I know I've already said it, but I'll reemphasize (since this is how it differs from the others) It was working well until I made that one adjustment on the bitrate, and changing it back didn't fix it.
Any ideas?
