Question / Help Black Screen Desktop

Hello everyone I have just recently installed OBS and have struggled to get any picture while recording my games. So far I have a picture while using "Monitor" however it films from a strange angle plus the frame rate is shocking. I was wondering if anyone could help me getting the "Game Capture" setting to work because at the moment it is just a Black Screen.

No sorry I am on my PC and if it matters im trying to record Dragonage Origins.
