So my first issue was I just got a black screen on recordings when recording a game (lost an hour's gameplay this way). Finally created a game capture scene and it picked up the game, the second I told it to record the and started the game, the graphics driver crashed with Texture Map >>> Failed. Your GPU disappeared from the system.
I've seen threads suggesting hardware failure, but I guarantee you that's not it, because I was fine for who knows how long until OBS got involved. Seen threads suggesting overheating, again not the cause, the GPU was at about 32 degrees when it crashed out.
I wanted to have Shadowplay handle the live stream and OBS record the footage so that if the stream goes down I can upload the recorded footage for people who couldn't watch the stream (which I was going to do anyway), but OBS is crashing the GPU every time. First time it crashed itself and the game, second time it crashed itself and the game kept playing
