I've done this:
https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/laptop-black-screen-when-capturing-read-here-first.5965/

But.. black screen again.. (sound and mike works).

I attach system info.. may be someone advise me what to do.

Also to fast info: I try on Samsung NP300E7Z-S02RU (RU means it was bought in russia).

P.S.: Please help, I so much appreciate your work with ligtest capture software and want to share some thoughts about the games that can not even play just like that.))) So, plase guide me.)

P.P.S.: And please, advise, where can I find log file and what is the file it should be?

(Sorry, it is quite hard for me to write and read on english.)

11:51:24: Total frames encoded: 13974, total frames duplicated: 13905 (99.51%)
11:51:24: Number of frames skipped due to encoder lag: 13902 (99.48%)

You're trying to record at 1080p, 60 FPS with an absolute dog of a PC. It just isn't going to work. Something like 360p at 30 FPS would be more appropriate. Downscale your resolution and reduce your FPS in OBS, then try again.

Well.. again the same. After Win 8 reinstall. (from x64 to x32 clearly). (Yes, I have DirectX, but may be I need framework-

But! Analizer says:

VBR in use

Consider enabling CBR for improved stream quality. CBR will use a fixed bitrate which allows a smoother network stream, reducing the chances of frame drops for both you and your viewers.

Bad resolution / FPS / bitrate combination

The combination of settings you are using will likely lead to a low quality stream with artifacting and other problems. Consider either raising your bitrate or lowering your resolution / FPS (qval: 0.023)

1. How can I select Quality = 10, if it's blocked when CBR is cheked? I've tried earlier uncheck CBR - select quality 10 - then again check CBR (in the last step quality changing bacomes again unavailable. Does it means, that CBR is make sense only with manual bit rate changing and there is no need in qyality setting?).

And this thing:

bit rate no higher than this. even when I changed to Max BitRate = 2000. When earlier I wrote, at least bit rate was appropriate in this info area. Don't know, may be it means something.

And this strange thing:

I made instructions for laptops and selected in OBS to decreased GPU. But it shows the same max res when it was on integrated! Selecting Monitor option doesn't helps... May be I need driver to update?

Again thanks in further.

1. CBR (constant bit rate) and VBR (variable bit rate) cannot be used at the same time. CBR's goal is to keep the bit rate constant by adjusting video quality, while VBR's goal is to keep video quality constant by adjusting the bit rate. Unchecking the option for CBR automatically enables VBR, and in the log file you posted CBR is disabled. This is not good for streaming, so the log analyzer warns you about it.

In your screenshot above, the bit rate is low because you're using VBR and ~13 Kbps is all the encoder needs to maintain the quality level (just a black screen, no motion). If there was a moving image there, the bit rate would be higher and change a lot.

2. In the log file you've attached, OBS isn't able to recognize your Nvidia GPU at all and reports "Loading up D3D10 on Microsoft Basic Render Driver (Adapter 3)...". You also appear to be running outdated and incomplete drivers. This needs to be corrected.

First you should download the latest driver package from Nvidia's website here. Then you should download a program called Display Driver Uninstaller from here.

Run the Display Driver Uninstaller. Let it reboot your PC into safe mode and clean out all Nvidia driver files present on your system. After this has been done, load Windows normally and install the new driver package you downloaded earlier. After the drivers have been installed, reboot one last time and then try OBS again.

If it does, please post a new log file so we can see if anything has changed.

I know about CBR-VBR that's it's different things, I was talking about, what is this setting - quality, does it works when unavailable.. nevermind I think

So, here's log. Black screen again.

Ah sorry, I misunderstood you. The Quality dropdown box adjusts the value used for --crf which is how you set the quality "target" for VBR encoding. You can read more about it here - http://mewiki.project357.com/wiki/X264_Settings#crf. Setting the Quality value higher will set the --crf value lower.

The log file at least shows some progress here since OBS is recognizing your GPU now, so that's good. Next it looks like we need to configure OBS to run on your Nvidia hardware, since it has to run on the same GPU that is running the game. Follow the steps at https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/laptop-black-screen-when-capturing-read-here-first.5965/ and maybe everything will work now. :P

Have you tested with multiple games? I see you were trying to capture Tesla Effect originally; do other games do the same thing?

SOoo) I have some progress. I've tried window capture and it works. OBS is inally sees something!) But.. another issue: see scr.shot.

I've also tried BB Flashback Pro (because of web-cam PIP function, which OBS sadly don't have on board.. is there or will be some plugins for this thing?) - it can capture desktop.. with the same thing.

What is more - the higher the resolution, the smaller the area, and the more black area (OBS & BB both).. (yes, I checked all resolutions to be the same.. but with windows like Chrome or EVE client checker - this thing the same evem with "all screen" checked). But this kind of windows hasn't settings for changing resolution! And OBS still can't see desktop.

Besides: I chose somesing like 'fixed window' mode in EVE.

P.S.: Another one question: what happens if:

For example I made EVE client checker window capture and checked in this EVE checker setting 'close when game launch'. What happens - OBS, when starting game will make a video capture crash error or it's detects this normally like it should?

And when I exit form game it says: 'WARNING! Low ..." in a left corner of an OBS window like earlier with lo bitrate when OBS was capturing black screen.

I have myself to finish the capture, and then out of the game?

P.P.S.: You can see capture here.

P.P.S.: The strange thing I've just noticed! It cut's image itself not just shrinking window!
