try removing all your sources (game/screen/window), exc then rebuild them under global sources. after each is build under global sources, create your new sources by rightclicking on the sources area then global sources, then select the source from there. For some reason when I preview or start stream and and then I stop, when I try to preview or start again I get a black screen and have to restart OBS in order to get the picture again.

So you are currently using the proper capture method? post a log pleasenope... same thing... Works great when I exit and restart... Something changing in program?
obs using dx10 which your 3000 series is failing on, so its using compatibility mode so there might be issues with this. Second change key frames to 2 and profile to main. Turn aero on. Might be time to upgrade that video card maybe? :Pok.. here is the new log...
are you able to stream anything? a game window? a browser? just curious as you are still getting that message.ok.. did everything and downloaded catalyst software and latest driver with good dx10 support... Same thing.. Here is the new log... Thanks so much for your help
add it as a global source and remake the source capture to the global source you made for the webcamThere something else I found out. After starting and stopping the Stream or preview the other scenes work. I have a scene that captures my second monitor (extended display). I also have a scene that adds transparency to my camera. The camera is the only thing that does not come back on. When I click on the third scene the transparency shows up over a black screen.
not sure what you are saying
Global Sources
- Setting a source up as a global source means it is always active and doesn't need to 'turn on'. It's very useful to set up webcams as global sources so there is no loading time when you switch scenes
it is being used as a global source and is used in 2 scenes
