Question / Help Black Ops 2 is fuzzy, but Dota 2 is fine.

Hi,

I'm very new to streaming and I'm trying to get it smooth and clear but maybe that's not possible with my connection (1.1 upload). I've tried every res possible, turning the bitrate to my max which is about 900kbs and nothing helps. If I'm standing still it's OK, but when I start running in Black Ops 2 it goes all fuzzy. I just tried Dota 2 and it's fine, completely watchable at 480p. Is this due to Dota 2 being much slower or could it be a game setting?

Thanks for any help.

PS: Quality is on 10, bitrate 900, FPS 25, CPU preset faster

You might want to lower your quality. But in general FPS games have a lot more motion than RTS games so it will be harder to encode.

Lowering the quality will make it less blurry? It's just crazy enough to work. I'll give it a go.

Changed it to 8 and it's watchable when not in fullscreen, but still too blurry in fullscreen. I guess there's nothing I can do about that though right? 480p stretched to 1080p will always look pretty bad.

Is this about as good as I'll get with 1mb upload?

Hi,

actually, I'm streaming all games with quality 6. This will cause movements looking more sharp and not that blurry. Quality 10 for example causes not motioned pictures to look sharp as hell but has this negative effekt on motioned ones.
