Question / Help Black box for windows capture

So i want to show twitch chat when streaming but when i use window capture to capture the pop out twitch chat, the region is just all black. I cant seem to find a solution on here for it. Im using windows 8 btw

There are often issues with capturing chrome windows. You could try 'compatibility mode' in window capture, or perhaps try a different browser. Is it a laptop?

Just got home from school. Yes i do use a laptop. Does that affect it by any means?

Laptops tend to have certain issue due to the fact that they usually have two graphics adapters (one for power saving that usually draws the desktop, then one for graphics programs)
