Question / Help Black bars in Twitch

I have black bars in twitch and not in the preview or on OBS while I'm streaming, just on twitch.tv when I watch my own stream.I also get a error pop up sometimes saying Cannot initialize desktop audio sound, more info in the log file.

Twitch's player is 16:9, and you're not streaming at a 16:9 resolution. I wouldn't worry about it, just stay with your monitor's aspect ratio.

Okay, but the black bars might deter people from my stream. Also my quality isn't the best. Any ideas? Thanks for the help already though.

Here are your other options:

* Run the game in Windowed mode at a 16:9 resolution (such as 1280x720) and set OBS to match
* Run your monitor at a 16:9 resolution. This will distort the picture from your perspective but will look fine to viewers
* Run OBS at a 16:9 resolution and distort/stretch the picture to fit. This will look fine for you but distorted/squished for your viewers (hold shift while resizing)
* Run OBS at a 16:9 resolution, run the game at a 16:10 resolution, and fill the black space with images/other content
* Buy a 16:9 monitor

Okay I'll go with option 1 but when i set the resolution in OBS an error "Cannot initialize desktop audio sound, more info in log file." ^^^
