Question / Help Bitrate Question

I'm still not certain about what my bitrate should be. I used the estimator and it recommended me 3500, but if I set it as that, my stream starts buffering every other 10 seconds. If I use 1000, it doesn't lag. But I have 11.89 Mbps upload, so why can't I use the recommended bitrate?

RAM: 8GB

Because the route from the viewer servers to your viewers with your chosen streaming service doesn't allow you to use your recommended bitrate.

Nothing you change in obs can fix the bitrate limits on that path.

So Twitch doesn't allow 3500 bitrate?

It does allow 3500 bitrate, but the problem is that viewers' connections don't.
