Question / Help Bitrate Problem & Question

Hey guys, I am getting 5.5 up but anytime I set my bitrate higher then 1800 my dropped frames start to steadily increase. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

OBS logs? Computer specs? Inet wired or wireless?

Maybe its the same issue i got. See this thread:

If so, its probably a routing/peering problem where you cannot do anything against it. Only contacting your ISP could help there. Thats what I am doing atm. On your side I would check out the thread, see whats different and whats the same between our problems and then traceroute some of the Twitch servers.

Kay try this:
720@30fps (or lower)
scene buffering time 500
keyframe interval 2
CPU preset veryfast
max bitrate 2200-3500 (buffer same)
try different servers

Monitor CPU usage through windows resource manager/monitor while gaming+streaming. If CPU load is below 60% at all times then try CPU preset faster (if you get 100% CPU load spikes and/or dropped frames -> lower back to veryfast).
