Hey guys, need a little help with my OBS. I have really good internet speeds

However, no matter how much I cap it at,

It still streams at like 20,000 kb/s and I start to lag. I don't understand how to cap it and stop it from using so much. No matter what value I put in for the max bitrate, it doesn't cap it at all.

Here's the pastebin: http://pastebin.com/gyBkvTuK

Anyone got any ideas on how to help me out? I'd greatly appreciate it!

That log shows a bitrate of 0 and a buffer size of 0, why would you ever set it like that for streaming?
Anyway, set the bitrate to 2000-2500 range and disable custom buffer size and remove those custom x264 parameters.

And I still spike to over 10k kb/s

It seems like the max bitrate doesnt do anything

The max bitrate does do something, you are forcing this behaviour with your x264 custom parameters, like i said remove them.
