Hello everyone! First of all i am very sorry if this is a repost of any kind, been trying to look around but have not found a fix for my specific problem.

So to cut to the chase, I want to stream Bf4. Preferebly with as little "graining" or what you call it as possible, the problem you get when you set you'r x264 preset to fast. And ofcourse stream at 60 fps.

My computer specs are as follows:

Cpu i7-4770
Motherboard MSI Z87-S02 INET EDITION ATX
Gpu Nvidia 780
Ram Kingston 32GB, CL10 1866Mhz XMP Beast Series
Hdd 120ggb SSD

My upload speed is 100mbt/s

I stream to twitch.

The problem right now is that i in any of the settings ingame get what i beleave is called "microstuttering" which renders the game unplayable.

If anyone of you OBS Wizzards can help me out with some guidelines and tips for settings within the software i would be most happy!

Much love /Fabbs

make sure to post a log ... but if you actually using fast preset then go back to veryfast which would be the default

the quality gain between veryfast (default) and fast with the cost of such a huge performance decrease is barely not worth it for a single pc streaming setup

and still, post a log please

Especially not with such a poorly-optimized game as BF4, which is already going to over-stress the CPU significantly more than it has any right to. I'd expect requiring the use of Veryfast at least (if not Ultrafast), even with an i7, with how badly coded BF4 is.

Again, please post a logfile of a live streaming session, and we'll be able to at least get you to a passable point. But with some games... well. Managing expectations becomes the most important part.

Your Haswell iGPU actually has quite good QuickSync encoding quality, almost on par with Faster. QuickSync is almost a must when trying to stream BF4 on a single PC setup, the game is very system demanding on it's own.
