Question / Help Best way to guard against crash?

Hi All,
Are there settings to make videos more "crash proof"? In other words, if the app crashes, I currently get a corrupted MP4 with audio and no video. Is there a format I can have OBS use so I can at least get back part of the video? Only lost one video at Derbycon this way, but would love to be able to keep if from happening again.

You can save the file as an FLV and use this method to convert it to MP4.

Thanks, I see that as an option now. Any downsides on quality? I'll make a decent sized video and test conversion time. Wish there was a way to get back the video from Derbycon I lost. It's this one:

There are no quality downsides. They are the exact same h264 video file.
